People, Who Paint People, Are the Luckiest People

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. It’s a wonderful weather morning here. I hope it is where ever you might be.

Today’s post is a little unusual: I got to paint the portrait of a person. I don’t get requests to do these very often, and always enjoy the opportunity to branch out and do something different. My neighbor wanted a portrait made from a small photo he had of him in his Shrine fez. I used it to create a new, larger version for him. He was very pleased with it, and the portrait is a good likeness. I would like to do more people portraits in addition to pet portraits, so keep that in mind.

Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoy, and have a great day.
