Hot as Hades

Good afternoon from my studio in East Nashville. I hope everyone is staying safe in this oppressive heat. I went out to the Y to work out and then the art store to get some paints I was out of, and it wasn’t too bad. Then I just took the trash to the curb and oh, good grief. It’s miserable out there. Please stay cool and hydrated.

I’ve been able to get some work done lately. Here’s one I just delivered last week. This is Charlie, who, I’m told, was a wonderful, somewhat goofy guy. He certainly was cute. He was also very loved by his people. I was honored to get to paint him as a memory for his folks.
