Finally, Fall

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. Hope everyone is doing well. So happy to see the oppressive heat breaking this week. Maybe we can start seeing fall-like weather.

I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks. I’ve gotten some paintings done, but they are surprise presents and I can’t post them yet. I hate spoiling a surprise. I’ll post them when the time is right.

In the meantime, here’s Eammon, another one I’ve just finished, but is not a surprise. I thought the pose was very sweet, and I tried to make the painting soft. It’s in transit to it’s new owner, though he approved of the photo. I suspect when he sees it in reality, he’ll be very pleased.
