Another Stormy Day

Good afternoon from my studio in East Nashville. Looks like we’re going to get some potentially rough weather soon. Since the 2020 tornado I’m very conscious of the weather patterns. We did not get hit by that storm; it came within about a half mile. Still, it was quite frightening to be that close. I was so sad for those in East that did get hit. Building back is so hard and takes so long. Hope we avoid anything like that this spring.

I’m almost finished with the two portraits I’ve been working on. Can’t post them yet, since they are gifts and I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Here’s Pixie, a super cute little pup I did some time back. She had such a great pose.

Things are slow right now; probably for a number of reasons. I would be happy to paint something for you. Let me know if I can help you.
