My Darling Clementine
Good morning. It’s a bright, pleasant day here at the studio in East Nashville. Seems most folks, including me, feel much better when the sun is shining. I hope the sun is shining where ever you may be.Here’s Clementine, or Clemmy, as she was called. This was a memorial portrait I did for a group of friends who wanted to help a dear friend over the loss of Clemmy. Sometimes it seems counter-intuitive, but the memorial portraits really do help with the loss. I’ve shared that personally the memorials I’ve done of my guys who are gone really does help. Knowing the portraits may be making things a little easier is a great thing. I’m always honored to do a memorial, though saddened at the same time. I know for a fact that the recipient of this portrait was very moved, so that’s all good.Anyway, enjoy the painting. Let me know if I can help in any way. Stay safe, and enjoy the day, sunshine or not.
