Another Rainy Day

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. I just got back from an errand on the north side of town, and the roads right now are crazy from the rain. I may start looking for a gently used ark.

Here’s a new portrait I just finished. This is Luke, a soulful hound if ever there was one. The look in his eyes is just amazing; you can tell he was looking at his person taking the reference photo, and it’s just pure love. I so wish humans were more like dogs.
