Good Morning

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. Happy to say it is a beautiful morning here in the East, something we’ve had too few of over the last couple of months. Currently working on a large portrait that will be a birthday present next month, so that’s still under wraps.

Here’s Ziggy, who I finished a month ago, but had to wait to share because it, too, was a present, and I really hate to spoil a surprise. While I was working on him, I kept going back and forth in my mind between the cartoon character, Ziggy, and David Bowie’s Ziggy. I think Bowie’s Ziggy was clearly the winner in that internal debate.
