Double Dog Dare

Once again, things got a little weird in my East Nashville studio last week, and I totally forgot to post anything. I have noticed that this last year that I’m more easily distracted than ever before, a probable side effect of this crazy time. I can say that I got my second Pfizer vaccine shot eight days ago, so in a few more days I should be at fully immunization from the virus. Hopefully, that will also change how I’ve operated for the past 13 months.In any event, here is a double portrait I just finished for a client, through York & Friends gallery. Ron York has been representing me for some time, and I’m very proud to be associated with his wonderful gallery.This is Pax and Lulu, and they are certainly a cute pair of pups. I had a lot of fun painting them and understand they were well received. It is very rewarding to make a portrait of treasured friends that will last a lifetime.In the meantime, thanks for reading, hope you enjoy, and stay safe.
