And Now for Something Completely Different
Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. I hope everyone is doing well.
I had been hinting the last few weeks about a big project I was working on. Well, it’s finally finished and delivered. The project was four portraits of the founders of the largest law firm in southern Kentucky, English Lucas Priest and Ousley. My dear friend Andee Rudloff referred the project to me, and I am very grateful to her. She is a remarkable artist in her own right, so please visit her Facebook page and see the marvelous work she had done.
Here is the portrait of Charles English. Pardon the glare on some of these photos; I had a very difficult time getting decent photos of the paintings. As you know, pets have been my main stay for many years. I’ve occasionally done people portraits. but this was by far the largest and most difficult project I’ve done. Each portrait is 18×24, so they are somewhat large. They will be framed and hung in the law offices. When I get a photo of the completed hanging, I’ll post that.
Thanks. Hope you enjoy this different painting. Have a great week and take care.
