Final Tomato Art Piece

First, an IMPORTANT CORRECTION! I had stated that the Tomato Art Festival Preview Party would be on Friday, August 8. That is INCORRECT. It’s actually on Thursday, August 7. Here is the last of the three pieces I’ll have in the Festival this year. I know that I’m basically admitting I’m old with this one. This is “Emmitt Kelly with Tomato.” Emmitt Kelly was a famous clown back in the 50’s and 60’s. He appeared somewhat regularly on television variety shows such as ‘The Red Skelton Show” and others. His act was as a sad clown, so in my painting the tomato cheers him up.
