A Memorial
Good morning from my studio here in East Nashville. We have a lot of signs that spring is here, or at least right around the corner, even though we may have frost this weekend. Tennessee weather loves to keep you guessing.
This is Marilyn, a super sweet girl. She was a dear friend to a dear friend for many years. I was honored to paint her, and deeply saddened. She was truly a member of the family; an indispensable nexus of the people and pets around her. I know for a fact she is deeply missed.
As I’ve said before, memorials make me very sad, but also very honored to make a lifelong memory for the people left behind.
Thanks for looking. Stay safe and well.
