A Change of Pace
Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. I hope everyone is having a great day so far, and that it continues to be a great day. I have several projects going a once, so nothing new, in terms of pet portraits, is ready to go.
I have been slowly getting back to giving lessons. Right now I have just a few students in private classes, so no big jumping back into the teaching scene. For one thing, I don’t have a space to have a large class, and I’m a little rusty after three years off during the pandemic.
I did this little 15 minute demonstration for a class last weekend. It’s actually not finished but I wanted my students to try and be loose and quick in their practice. Going quickly takes a lot of the mental insecurity out of the process, and leads to more self confidence. I may do some more work on this to take it to a final form.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy and have a great day. Thanks.
