That’s One Big Cat
Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. As expected from our always unexpected weather here in Middle Tennessee, we had another of our 14 winters the last couple of days. Living here all my life has taught me to expect the unexpected where the weather is concerned. Just another of the unique aspects of Nashville life.I got to do something a little unusual for my sister in law. She had a wonderful cat named Mike, after Mike the Tiger of LSU fame. Mike was a Maine Coon, and he was very large. In fact, he was a little over two and a half feet long. So I did a full portrait of him lounging on the sofa, and it is life size. It’s very impressive in person, and so was Mike. I was honored to try and capture his larger than life attitude, and hope I did.Anyway, enjoy, thanks for looking and stay safe and well.
