Spring Storms

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. Hope everyone is doing well. The forecast says storms tonight, so be prepared and stay safe.

Here’s Koda, another Christmas portrait. I was especially struck by how beautiful his eyes are. One of the features of our interactions with dogs is through their eyes – and ours. Dogs tend to look at our eyes to see what our intentions are, and what we expect them to do. In return, we see their souls in their eyes. Next time you get a chance, look into your dog’s eyes.
