Random Dogs

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. Hope everyone is having a great day. Another Tomato Art Festival has come and gone. I’m pleased to say all three of my pieces sold. It makes me proud and happy that someone thought enough of my work to take it home and enjoy. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the art.

On a somewhat sad note, my old friend and college classmate Ron York had owned and operated York & Friends Gallery for many years. He had represented my commission work in the gallery. Ron retired sometime back and sold the gallery to a very nice gentleman.

Unfortunately, starting back in April, the gallery sales virtually stopped. The same thing has happened with my commission work. I attribute that to the current economic uncertainty.

I had painted two representational works for the galleries to display to sell the commissions. At the current closing I got those back. So now I have two pet portraits sitting in my studio.

As a result, even though these are not anyone’s pet, I’m offering them for sale, $150 each; both for $250. They are framed, as you can see. If interested, email me and we will work it out.

Thanks for looking, and have a great week.
