Rocky Two

Good morning from my studio in East Nashville. Hope everyone is having a great day today.

Last week I posted a painting of Rocky on his boat. Today, this is Rocky’s headshot portrait. My client wanted two portraits of him in different settings; hence the outdoor and indoor poses. Rocky was very special to my client. From what she told me, Rocky was one of those “love of my life” dogs. If you have been very, very lucky, you know what I mean. I was so honored to get to paint him for her, and hold his memory close forever.
